1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture when you sign up via Google OAuth.
Lease Documents: Files you upload for analysis. These are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
Analysis Data: The clause audit reports and dispute letters generated for your account.
Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Analyse your lease and generate reports and dispute letters
Maintain and improve the Service
Send transactional emails (e.g. your scan report)
Process payments for premium features
Ensure the safety and security of the platform

We never sell your personal data or lease documents to third parties.

3. Lease Document Retention

Free-tier documents are automatically deleted 30 days after upload. Pro and Team documents are retained for 12 months or until you delete them, whichever comes first.

4. AI Processing

Lease content is sent to Google Gemini API for analysis. Google's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google OAuth: For authentication and sign-in.
Google Gemini AI: For lease analysis and letter generation.
Stripe: For payment processing.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie required for authentication. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Clausinator is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access and download your personal data
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Opt out of non-essential communications
